Are you interested in sunken treasure? Listen to Glenn as he brings up points that many never even think about: "You could go after one of the treasure ships... Most of those are far off, even if they are near. Diving is dangerous and expensive. No matter where such a wreck lies, at least one government or more will want to take the lion's share of any recovery you make, no matter what expense and sacrifice you have in making the recovery. Many governments will prevent your search in the first place."

Consider the vast wealth in sunken ships: There are also thousands of wrecks that were not lost at sea but have been abandoned or sunk. These are typically smaller vessels such as fishing vessels. These vessels can provide an interesting recreational dive but are usually of little interest to historians. They may pose a hazard to navigation and may be removed by Port Authorities. These vessels are sometimes referred to as abandoned or derelicts. But, how much TREASURE lies in those abandoned boats?

Concerning the Fall of Persia, and the battle between Alexander the Great and Darius III of Persia: Alexander's army crossed the Cilician Gates, met, and defeated the main Persian army under the command of Darius III at the Battle of Issus in 333 BC.
